aPHR Eligibility:

PHR/SPHR

PHR Eligibility: 

  • Option 1: 1 year of professional-level HR experience AND a Master's degree or higher.
  • Option 2: 2 years of professional-level HR experience AND a Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Option 3: 4 years of professional-level HR experience (with a high school diploma or GED).

SPHR Eligibility: 

  • Master's Degree or Higher: 4 years of professional-level HR experience. OR
  • Bachelor's Degree: 5 years of professional-level HR experience. OR
  • Less Than a Bachelor's Degree (High School Diploma/GED): 7 years of professional-level HR experience.

Tuition starts at $2,495 PHR |  $2,600 SPHR


Coach-guided SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP

SHRM-CP Eligibility 

For those with a Bachelor's or higher degree: Typically requires 0-2 years of operational HR experience.

  • For those with less than a Bachelor's degree: Requires 3-5+ years of HR experience, focusing on operational tasks.
  • Role Focus: Implementing HR policies, delivering HR services, being an HR point of contact. 

SHRM-SCP Eligibility

  • For those with a Bachelor's or higher degree: Often needs 4-6+ years in strategic HR or 3+ years as a SHRM-CP holder in a strategic role.
  • For those with less than a Bachelor's degree: Requires substantial experience in strategic HR.
  • Role Focus: Developing HR strategy, overseeing integrated HR operations, aligning HR with organizational goals, leading HR functions. 

Key Requirements for Both

  • Time: At least 1,000 hours of paid HR/HR-related work per calendar year.
  • No HR Title/Degree Needed: You don't need a specific HR title or degree, but your work must align with the certification level.
